HX Stomp Preset | Octaver A/B (COG T-47)

I created this preset as part of my series called 'Basslines I Love and Why' for the track 'Moda' by Jordan Rakei.

This is probably my favorite bassline ever! I'm a huge fan of Robin Mullarkey, who is not only a killer bass player but also a great musician overall. Since it came out in 2020, I've been revisiting and working on this bassline. There is always something to learn from it. I love the percussive 16th note lines with lots of dead notes and little melodies. I’m striving to get close to his game.

For the octave sound in the chorus, I’m using the HX Stomp. I created a custom block where I approximated the sound of my COG T-47 with my favorite setting. I even incorporated the snapshot function to imitate the A/B switch. 😊✌️
