HX Stomp Preset | SansAmp

I have to say that I love creating presets for the HX Stomp in order to improve my tone for certain songs or just to copy a popular pedal. It's so travel friendly and packed with features. With this preset, you can turn your HX Stomp into the Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver D.I. with the 3 programmable footswitches. The SansAmp has a legendary sound that has worked and been popular for decades. I replicated my favorite setting from my Bass Driver DI and put my three most used modification needs on the footswitches. This makes it even more versatile than the original pedal.

I am using it live on tour right now and I love it. It's a great amp-ish overdrive tone with lots of character and is great for rock and pop music. I love playing this preset with a p-bass and a pick. It has a little more presence of the original unaffected sound than the original, which I like.

If you want to add your own effects to the preset, I also created a simplified preset with the SansAmp sound only in the A path. So you can freely add your effects to the preset. I prefer the sound of the 'original' preset, but the simplified preset does the job as well ;-)
