HX Stomp Preset | Sidechain

This is an effect I had in mind for a long time. I wanted to emulate a sidechain effect with the HX Stomp so that I could play powerful and pumping synth bass parts with my bass guitar. And it works even better than I imagined.

These are the main features I wanted to include in this preset:

1. A great synth sound on its own. The main sound has a great sawing and deep character, so you can hear and feel yourself playing. I love it! Sounds great through an amp!
2. The ‘Pump It!’ footswitch lets you kick in the sidechain effect. Set the tempo for the song (You can tap the tempo with your foot or choose the exact bpm on the screen) and play an eight note on the downbeat. The sidechain effect comes in an eight note later and cuts off just before the next downbeat. It's pretty easy to get a feel for.
3. The 'Smooth' footswitch takes out some of the growl for smoother and more subby synth sounds. Works great for the standalone synth sound and the sidechain feature.
4. I left the third footswitch unused for the TAP/Tuner function.
