HX Stomp Preset | Kyiv (Octaver + POG)

I created this preset as part of my series called 'Basslines I Love and Why' for the track 'Kyiv' by Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes, and Rocco Palladino.

This track is fully improvised. After recording "Lift Off", they had some film left and decided to just jam and see what happened. What I love about this track is how Rocco switches roles: In the first part, he plays chords with fretted bass notes and harmonics, and uses a POG to add an 'octave up' to his chords (I think he used the EHX Epitome for that). In the second part, he switches into a bit more traditional bass role and plays a heavy bassline with an OC-2 type sub octave on (I think he used the MXR M280).

I've created a simple preset on the HX Stomp to switch seamlessly between the POG and sub-octave sound. I've also added a preamp block to the preset, which can be very handy on its own.

All and any feedback is welcome!

Enjoy the preset!
